So I looked into several R packages and was able to fix some failed r-cran-* autopkgtests by adopting the triggers for the gtk4 rebuild. Also, I investigated the "rmatrix 1.3-2+really1.2-18-0ubuntu1" case, which is a version mismatch due to downgrade ("namespace ‘Matrix’ 1.2-18 is already loaded, but >= 1.3.2 is required"), blocking the migration of many packages (like r-bioc-beachmat, r-bioc-delayedarray, r-bioc-hdf5array, r-bioc-matrixgenerics, r-bioc-rhdf5lib, r-bioc-s4vectors, r-bioc-summarizedexperiment, r-cran-matrixstats, r-bioc-iranges, ...). I filed an update-excuse bug for those, as there is some upstream work going on and we should have a proper fix soonish: https://pad.lv/1915926
Adopting triggers for rebuilt packages (gtk4, pango1.0, snapd) helped to resolve many more autopkgtests: NO - swi-prolog on armhf NO - node-browser-resolve on armhf NO - macsyfinder on s390x NO - ruby-fakeredis on s390x NO - ubuntu-image on amd64 – updated gtk4, pango1.0 & snapd triggers NO - ubiquity on amd64 – updated gtk4, pango1.0 & snapd triggers OK - docker.io vs vim on amd64/arm64/ppc64el/s390x – vim-only trigger OK - logbook on armhf – updated snapd trigger OK - node-copy-webpack-plugin on armhf OK - node-path-is-absolute on armhf – updated snapd trigger OK - node-hash-sum on armhf – updated snapd trigger OK - libcode-tidyall-perl vs ['libtimedate-perl/2.3300-2'] on armhf OK - libarchive on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - kronosnet on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - imagemagick on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - hplip on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - liboggz on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - gvfs on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - dovecot on armhf – update gtk4 trigger OK - libvirt on armhf – updated gtk4 trigger OK - r-cran-dplyr on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-flexmix on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-libcoin on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-multcompview on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-pbmcapply on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-prediction on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-propclust on armhf – gtk4 OK - r-cran-rwiener on armhf – gtk4 OK - lintian on armhf – gtk4 OK - netplan.io on amd64 – updated gtk4 & wpa triggers .. - netplan.io on ppc64el – updated gtk4 & wpa triggers; still running .. - systemd vs lvm2 on amd64 – still running Additionally, I did some sponsoring, FTBFS and universe merges: FTBFS: OK - mergerfs on ppc64el/s390x – https://pad.lv/1903748 (unknown DWARF DW_OP_0) OK - network-manager 1.28.0-2ubuntu2 on arm64 – retry Sponsoring: OK - findutils Merges: OK - nm-tray OK - gnome-pkg-tools OK - axel – sync; drop delta (skipping proxy tests) OK - ganeti-instance-debootstrap OK - lua-dbi Cheers, Lukas
