There are few things I like about the Windows OS, but the experience of using BitLocker and how it makes use of the TPM security chip is awesome. It makes for such a seamless, easy to use, way to implement full-disk encryption, utilizing the password at OS login etc.
Is there any hope that Ubuntu/Debian can implement a similar full-disk encryption feature making use of the TPM security chip?
