You are getting this email, because you are listed as the maintainer of this package. If this is not the place to complain about the package, then where is the 'correct' place?

I attempted to remove LibreOffice (office productivity suite (metapackage)) from my mint Linux system after problems running it - mentioned in other email. See enclosed pictures to show I am not crazy.

1. Synaptic said the package was OK - Image 1.
2. Attempted to mark for total removal. Synaptic said the package was broken - Image 2.

How can a package be installed and 'OK' one moment and 'Broken' - red box with x the next moment in Synaptic - version 0.83?

Please explain: 1. How to get LibreOffice installed so that it will actually run.
                         2. How could this 'breakage' happen?
