Hey Andrew, Both new QEmu and new Libvirt are available to Ubuntu Trusty, fully supported.
Just install your Trusty and run the following commands: add-apt-repository cloud-archive:kilo apt-get update apt-get dist-upgrade or apt-get install ubuntu-virt-server That's it!
