Been using deja-dup for backups on my freshly installed Trusty Tahr installation. After every backup, it complains that it cannot backup ~/.cache/dconf and ~/.dbus. Adding these to Ignore (which takes folders as inputs) doesn't help.
But, where is the problem? Is it in the filesystem, why are these folders owned by root? Or is it with deja-dup? I could not find any official documentation about it and only some askubuntu.com-questions with no good answers. $ sudo ls -la .cache/dconf total 12 drwx------ 2 root root 4096 mar 28 18:06 . drwx------ 24 thnov thnov 4096 apr 4 22:45 .. -rw------- 1 root root 2 mar 28 18:06 user $ sudo ls -la .dbus total 12 drwx------ 3 root root 4096 mar 28 18:06 . drwxr-xr-x 35 thnov thnov 4096 apr 4 22:47 .. drwx------ 2 root root 4096 mar 28 18:06 session-bus Rgds//Thomas
