Good day

I have the tingling sensation that this topic has already been up to
discussion, but I'm going to bring it up anyways.
Preload is a daemon that monitors what applications the user runs and
by analysing that data it prefetches the most used data into the RAM so to
decrease the time needed to launch these applications to which the data
belongs. This is a package that I always install on a fresh Ubuntu box
because it makes it faster, quite simply.

So here comes my fairly predictable question: Is there any chance that this
package can become one of the default packages in an Ubuntu installation. If
not, then why not?
