If they mess up following a howto, it is the howtos fault. If for any reason the 'make it easy to do' tool messes up, it is that tool's fault. If you come up with a piece of rubbish for a GUI, it is YOU who put that rootable, botable box on the Net. You can bet on what real admins feel about any distro that facilitates the work of criminals such as spammers and virus writers.
