Speaking of things that should be in Synaptic, the functionality of gui-apt-key springs to mind; rather than importing key files, we should just be able to look them up or type in the number, e.g. if you wanted to add the Wine HQ repository, when adding the apt line: deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/ jaunty main that there could be a spot to add the key (387EE263) or better yet have it automatically extracted from the repo with some confirmation that it is the key for "Scott Ritchie", do you want to add it?
