Are they coming as plain text or HTML email? If HTML email, maybe they have invisible GIFs embedded to see if you open spam? I haven't received any of these, but then the only mails which are guaranteed to not go to my spam folder are ones with mailing list headers. Which means if people "reply all" and I'm the To with the list as the CC, it still might go to spam.
