This is true. I tried to dual boot Edgy when it was stable with Feisty alpha 3. I never bothered to change what partition I was going to boot, and ended up using Feisty all the time (made my ~ unusable for Edgy after a few weeks...yes, I shared /home with Edgy, Feisty, Fedora Core 6, and Sabayon all at once at one point). Others may never bother to boot the unstable one. And if they're separate computers, well, most people have their "main" computer, and since we're being told "don't put it on your production machine!!!" (not that I ever listen, but I can't follow directions ;) ), it's going to end up on the disused computer in the far corner of the house that occasionally gets fired up when someone else in the family is hogging the main computer. That minimal use will hardly result in finding all the bugs and their causes. -- Mackenzie Morgan Linux User #432169 ACM Member #3445683 http://ubuntulinuxtipstricks.blogspot.com <-my blog of Ubuntu stuff apt-get moo -- Ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list Ubuntu-devel-discuss@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-discuss
