I too upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy, and the mouse in the synergy client became very unresponsive. After sudo-ing to start the client, and then renicing the client to increasingly higher priorities, performance improved some, but nothing like it was under Gutsy. The mouse simply jumps around almost randomly. It seems to 'catch-up' at random intervals.
