Yes there's some Elisa integration in Ubuntu, which is definitely a good start.
But you're right: we need to set some goals and work together to achieve them.

Having Elisa on the live cd is one of our goals and we're working hard to
shrink Elisa to fit in the live cd. It would be great to get together
and discuss
with Denis about his experience with the live cd and what can be done
to make the situation better.
