Cool. I really do hope it's possible to bring the work into the universe quickly. I emailed with the project lead (João Pinto <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) and he informed me that he felt that bringing the packages into compliance with Ubuntu/Debian policies would take more time than he felt he could personally afford.
