Hey Jim, No, we plan to support those widgets as well as we can, and fix the theme and unity issues. The use of GtkHeaderBar as decoration creates issues though (inconsistencies, they don't work with the unity mode where menus are placed in the wm decoration, ...) so we want to avoid using them in the default applications set.
