Well established software house, located in Nicosia, Cyprus is seeking active and enthusiastic professional for the role of Senior Systems/Network Administrator. The primary duties of this role are:
- The handling of infrastructure design for software deployments. - IT and network infrastructure administration - Database management - Staff support Candidates should have knowledge on the following areas: - Knowledge of the TCP/IP suite. - Knowledge of common practices in networking (QoS, routing, IPv4, switched networks) - Understanding of voice over IP and the common open source solutions around it. - Excellent understanding of IT infrastructures (networks, services, cloud, etc..) - Excellent knowledge of Linux and the other unices. - Knowledge of mysql/postgres administration - Knowledge of Apache/Tomcat administration - Good grasp on system and solution design - Knowledge of security implementations such as SSL - Good analytical and technical thinking skills - Good communication skills - Fast learner and the ability to focus under pressure - A good team playing spirit - Self-motivated with a forward momentum - Knowledge of Cisco/Allied Telesis network equipment is a plus. - Additional language skills considered a plus (English is a requisite) - Development skills are considered a huge plus This role comes with a management oriented responsibility.
