Ubuntu 8.10 alpha (intrepid) currently contains version 2.4.2 of the intel driver which is >= 2.3.2. Therefore it is fixed in Ubuntu 8.10: http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/xserver-xorg-video-intel
