Since I submitted this bug report, I have managed to get my copy of Thunderbird working again.
In the screenshot, you can just see that the left-hand border looks a bit wider than the right-hand border. There is normally a narrow vertical bar that separates the list of folders, on the left, and the list of emails, on the right. This bar had moved to the extreme left of the main window, and had merged with the border of the window. I was able to use my mouse to separate the vertical bar from the border of the window. I was then able to move it to where it should be, so that the list of folders appeared on its left, and the list of emails appeared on its right. I think this problem was initially caused by a fault in my mouse, or in software that controls my mouse. This is not under the control of Thunderbird developers. Perhaps this sort of problem, with the vertical bar disappearing and with no visible way to get it back, could be prevented. There could be a minimum gap of 20 pixels between the vertical bar and the left-hand border. Or possibly there could be an item in the View menu to restore the view to normal. -- Thunderbird will not display emails any more! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/264142 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
