Public bug reported:

Hi There,

If you go to http://www.megadeth.com/home.php in konqueror and click on
the RSS Icon down the bottom right status bar and subscribe to one or
all of the feeds and have them imported into Akregator they are bogus
links, for example the RSS2.0 link becomes:

http:////www.megadeth.com/MegadethNews.xml

This shows up as a red crossed out icon with no text as it couldn't read
it, but the only thing wrong is the 2 extra slashes, one feed also gives
a slash at the end too.

http://www.megadeth.com/MegadethNews.xml

Would be the correct link, in fact just editing the properties n this
fixes it fine.

I talked to the Webmaster as I thought it was a site issue, but he
couldn't find anything wrong so I checked in Firefox and it was fine, so
it must be either konq or akregator.. or something odd about the feed
that only they pick up. I asked him for details on the way they are
generated and he said:

"Hmmm very strange. This is what is in the code on the main page

<a href="http://www.megadeth.com/MegadethNews.xml";>

The feed goes out on Feedreader 3.11.

You can view source on the main page for any other info..."

So the html looks ok, unless it is Feedreader 3.11 doing something
funny.

Thanks,

Félim
