fgosse, I've seen previous reports of LiveCD's emitting squashfs errors when it was actually a result of bad media (ie you burned a bad LiveCD). Care to maybe try burning a new LiveCD to test this theory. dav2dev, since you are the original bug reporter, care to comment if this is resolved with 2.6.27?
