Hi Timf, Thanks for the update. You mentioned speaking to the video4linux and linuxtv folks, just out of curiosity, was this via an upstream bug report at bugzilla.kernel.org or another upstream bug tracker? If not, it might be good to at least open the upstream bug report. I realize it may not get much attention but at least it will be formally opened as an issue upstream. Thanks.
