With all due respect to Michael Vogt (he has way more experience here than I do), this does not seem like a triaged, high-importance bug.
The /sbin/lrm-manager script is included in linux-restricted-modules- common, and linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-19-generic depends on that. The script /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-19-generic.postinst reads: #!/bin/sh case "$1" in configure) lrm-manager --kver=2.6.24-19-generic ;; esac which seems fine to me... So I cannot explain this problem... -- package update-manager 1:0.91.6 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/245508 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
