Hi Christian,

Thank you for you interest in this.

I did a new test with no USB-devices attached (fortunately I have an old
PS2 keyboard :-)

The corresponding warnings now read:

The list of modules has grow a bit: The list you cut out contains 99 modules.
The list in this post contains 4 additional ones: "nls_iso8859_1", "nls_cp437",
"vfat", "fat"
The two last ones are probably because I had accessed my windows-partition
before doing the test.

My system is up to date as a hardy system:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log# wajig status pm-utils
Package Installed Previous Now State
=======================-===============-===============-===============-=====
pm-utils 0.99.2-3ubuntu10 0.99.2-3ubuntu10
0.99.2-3ubuntu10 install

I'm not sure which driver is used for the graphics card. It's an nVidia
FX 5200, but I do not use the proprietary nVidia-driver. I attach output
from lsmod and lspci, but I must admit I can not point to the correct
one my selves. I could also not find the driver name in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf (things move fast in Ubuntu, and that is good).

Thanks again for you patience.
Thomas
