Hi Mike - I vaguely recall that the issue was something like a mismatch between the version of Lash Muse used and I guess the Lash daemon. It was a long while ago though... At the moment I'm using Hardy and I reinstalled Muse from CVS (about 15 August 2008) and I'm not having any stability problems.
I THINK I replaced the Hardy version of Muse because I was having trouble figuring out how to set up the inputs, rather than because because it had a defect. The one big "bug" that I know of in Muse is that it's very difficult to figure out how to start recording things as a novice. 2 years ago it took me hours to figure it out. When I came back to it recently it again took me a few hours again! Anyway I'm pretty sure the stability bug is not an issue in Hardy.
