Please let us know immediately if this newer 2.6.27 kernel resolves the bug reported here or if the issue remains. More importantly, please open a new bug report for each new bug/regression introduced by the 2.6.27 kernel and tag the bug report with 'linux-2.6.27'. ** Tags added: cft-2.6.27 I tried the latest ISO of Intrepid. The system originally gave a white screen on boot up. xfix solved that issue. The adept package and bug reporter, along with KDE jockey and PYTHON 2.5 hard crashes and the system goes unstable. Audio still had to be manually installed, but that is another issue... ACPI altered in BIOS and GRUB. Overheat isn't the probem.
