I've had this problem in Gutsy and Hardy both, so a WONTFIX saying works with Hardy won't be right.
Leann: Are there 2.6.27 debs to install on Hardy? I wont be able to move to Intrepid yet, as this is my only laptop. I will be willing to give it a shot if there were 2.6.27 was available for Hardy, if they are safe enough and won't eat up my data.
