the module needed for your harddisk is sata_nv, which is not in restricted modules, I was wrong. So in hardy, can you try "sudo modprobe sata_nv"? Also, the dmesg & lsmod output we need is from hardy, to see what is wrong. Your outputs from feisty look alright...
