don't forget the more recent http://kerneltrap.org/mailarchive/linux-kernel/2008/7/18/2566854 , with a patch ;-) I didn't try it yet, i'm investigating how to recompile the Ubuntu kernel with the patch, but cleanly (i don't wan't to mess with hand-installed kernel on this machine).
