I am already on 2.6.27 and it seems to work fine. Actually, I didn't even rembered the issue so I just updated my kernel with apt-get and continued to use the modem. Great :)
I still have some problems with the bandwith. It seems always to go down to only approx 500-5000B/s even when I have a very good connection. It start's with 200+ Kb/s and after a few seconds, it is down to 500 B/s or so. I have however no idea what the problem is, the only thing I know is that a dont have *this* problem on windows vista (there are other funny problems there, however :) ) Any ideas/suggestions? I have the same problem with pppd scripts and umtsmon. NetworkManager don't recognise my modem and Gnome PPP doesn't accept my init strings. -- update sierra driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
