It might be a good idea to at least keep an eye on it. The Brooktree devices are useful V4L and other video capture and TV programs.
I haven't noticed any configuration tools (GUI type) in Ubuntu, which is why I submitted it. If the bugs have been removed, then there may not be much work that needs to be done.
