Could you please check again to make sure this is in a livecd environment of edgy final? Does it work with other distros/OS's?
Sorry for the delay. ** Summary changed: - Today's update blocked my screen + Screen corrupted on boot ** Description changed: Hi I just updated/ dist-upgraded my system (April 6th). The new kernel is 2.6.15.20 but doesn't allow my screen to start. I came back to the fall- back 2.6.15.19, but same disappointment! Actually the Usplash starts and works properly, but after a while (turning to gdm I assume), the screen becomes white w/ horizontal black stripes???? I'm stuck to this now, please help!!
