Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
If you have saved pasword and group-key in NM when you connect to a Cisco VPN (vpnc) network, NM doesn't let you change or remove the saved password. You have to go into Applications > Seahorse > Passwords and find you password there and remove it. $ apt-cache policy network-manager network-manager: Installed: 0.7~~svn20080818t061112+eni1-0ubuntu1~nm1~hardy1 Candidate: 0.7~~svn20080818t061112+eni1-0ubuntu1~nm1~hardy1 Version table: *** 0.7~~svn20080818t061112+eni1-0ubuntu1~nm1~hardy1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 0.6.6-0ubuntu5 0 500 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- NM 0.7 Hard to fix if you have saved passwords for vpnc plugin (possible others) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262214 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
