Public bug reported: exo-open fails to open certain directories on my file system, namely those with email addresses in their names. If I run exo-open /home/forest/foo, it correctly opens a Thunar window to that directory. If I run exo-open /home/forest/[EMAIL PROTECTED], it launches my email program, which (of course) fails to do anything useful.
I noticed this because it seems to be the cause of Ubuntu's Tracker search tool failing to open my jabber (google talk) message log directories, which are created by pidgin. This is on ubuntu hardy, libexo-0.3-0. ** Affects: exo Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: exo (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: Xfce Bugzilla #4330 http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4330 ** Also affects: exo via http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4330 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Also affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- exo-open tries to open directory with an email program https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
