The Debain report comments this was fixed in cryptsetup=2:1.0.6-1 The current version of cryptsetup for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex release is 2:1.0.6-2ubuntu7 so it would seem this should be resolved for Intrepid Ibex 8.10. Regardless I've reassigned this to the cryptsetup package. If anyone can test and confirm this is resolved in Intrepid that would be great - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing .
