howdy. i am runing 8.04 with _all_ repositoryes enabled but there is no such fix available. it is about 3 months now from the fix being copyed to -updates, but it is not there. i really nedd this bug fixed for good. on Hardy since i do not intend to upgrade my systems to Intrepid. please check and fix this for real!
