I found a solution for this problem on the internet. Run this comands in terminal or do a script with that an run it in terminal:
ifconfig wlan0 down /etc/init.d/networking stop ifconfig wlan0 up /etc/init.d/networking start I observe that if I close internet explorer program for more time I have to run those commands again to get wireless connection to work. So I think is an "auto wlan0" issue but I'm one week old in Linux world.... I run Ubuntu 8.04, Compaq 6720s with Intel wireless pro 3945. -- lost wireless settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251339 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
