At install for Edgy PPC64, a PC 105 generic keyboard is chosen. When
going into the keyboard options, the two ("Mac" and "Mac old") keyboard
layouts do not support the white Apple USB keyboards that have shipped
for some four years now.
I see there are similar issues with other non-US Apple keybords as well.
The result is dead keys as well as keys that do not produce the correct
characters. The "no dead keys" option is not of any help in solving this
issue.
