When the freeze happens it locks up the whole system, including all
virtual consoles so there is no way for me to get a copy of the dmesg
output. Do any of the dmesg logs get held after rebooting the system,
or is there any way to capture the output of the dmesg command into a
logfile (something similar to "tail -f /var/log/dmesg > dmesg.log")? Is
there any timeframe of when the 2.6.27 kernel will be in the archives?
