Until this issue is fixed, I've been using Nautilus Actions (available in Synaptic) and a simple action that uses 7z directly, available at <http://www.grumz.net/?q=node/337>.
Be aware that this "Add to 7z" action creates a 7z archive named after the first file selected, and if you subsequently make another 7z archive with the same name in the same directory, the first archive will be overwritten. In addition, I use another action that tests 7z archives to ensure they don't have errors. This action is available at <http://www.grumz.net/?q=node/338>. I debated whether to make this available here or not because, while it no doubt will help people who run into this bug, it may make this bug's priority even lower than it already is; I'm hoping it won't. -- creating a 7zip gives error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150373 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
