Public bug reported: My iBook puts itself to suspend-to-ram reliably. The problem is, when the touchpad button is pressed, the iBook wakes up again. This behaviour is unwanted, because the touchpad button is also pressed when the lid is closed and some pressure is applied to the lid. Such a situation occurs frequently when handling the closed iBook or when the machine is carried in a full backpack. Plus, this issue has been reported earlier and has also already been fixed.
Honestly, is there any mechanisms in the development process that might stop these tons of regressions? ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Touchpad-button wakes up iBook from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/260951 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
