Seems to be similar to or duplicate of #62988. Does it help if you * add export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 to /usr/lib/firefox/firefox or * switch Composite off in xorg.conf or * switch screen depth from 16 bits to 24 bits?
