Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: iproute

"routef" has no man page. Upon trying to find out more about the
command, I ran "routef --help". Instead of showing me help, information
or anything else, it exited silently and killed my remote connection to
it.

cat /usr/bin/routef

#! /bin/sh

exec ip -4 ro flush scope global type unicast

So it flushes my routes? I think this is dangerous behaviour. It should at
least support "--help", but more so have a man page. Perhaps I would go as far
as suggesting to remove it from iproute altogether?

routef is missing a man page. "routef --help" executes the script. It is
