Public bug reported:
Have installed giFT on a mostly fresh install (installed dapper, didn't
install any additional packages, then upgraded to edgy)
I'm using giFT with giftui frontend. I have giftui setup to initialize
giFTd when it loads. It does this, and connects to the OpenFT network
(although it doesn't connect to Gnutella, despite it being enabled in
the config...)
It will allow me to search on OpenFT, and will return results, but will
not allow me to begin any downloads. It then appears to crash giFT
consistently within about 5 minutes of loading the program. It gives the
"cannot connect to giFT" error message. Please see the attached core
dump for further details.
If there are any other details which may assist you, please tell me. I
appologise if this should have been under giftui, but it appears to be a
problem spanning the two packages.
