I have also experienced this bug in my recent installation of Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 4. Similarly, I was installing over the top of my previous Ubuntu install (ext3) and when I selected the "Edit partition" button, the "partition size" numerical box was defaulted to the "used space" amount of the partition, rather than the current complete size of the partition. I also changed this manually to the full size of the partition to rectify the issue.
In addition, upon clicking on my swap partition after this and selecting "edit partition", the default size shown was the value I enterred for the previous partition size, rather than the size for the current swap partition. Again, changing this manually to the full partition size corrected the issue. -- Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 4 install wizard displays incorrect drive size when clicking on old ext3 partition https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258509 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
