curan : The bug you are talking is really different and it does not affect usplash. Most probably that your bug is in fact a Xorg bug. You should first look if you have a correct configuration (does the problem happens with a clean ubuntu install with default configuration, or it happened later after you installed your computer?). The Xorg configuration is all in /etc/X11/xorg.conf . You can reset it to default by booting to the recovery mode and choosing the option in the menu. If the problem that you get is really a bug (can be reproduced with default ubuntu configuration), you can file a new bug report to help this bug getting fixed.
