Any chance the fix released upstream will make it into Hardy? From the description, it looked like it dbus just needs to be compiled with an extra flag enabled. I know intrepid is coming up soon, but this bug crashes my machine on a daily basis, and a lot of people like myself will be hanging on to Hardy a bit longer due to KDE4.
