I have the same issue. I can't connect to my home wifi network using predefined settings. However I can connect when I set my WiFi to "Roaming mode". I don't like it and I'm using this script as a workaround for home: sudo /etc/dbus-1/event.d/25NetworkManager stop sudo ifdown eth1 sudo cp /etc/network/home /etc/network/interfaces sudo cp /home/jc/backup/wifihome.70debconf /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/70debconf sudo cp /home/jc/backup/resolv.conf.home /etc/resolv.conf sudo ifconfig eth1 up sudo iwconfig eth1 essid wifihome sudo ifup eth1
