** Description changed: my laptop speaker produce no sound except when headphone or external speakers are attached. the laptop speakers work well with Microsoft Windows XP SP2. + + my laptop speakers work well now after I installed GNOME ALSA Mixer... + I need to deselect the mute box for 'surround'... + If I want to use my earphone... i need to select the mute box... + + so far I didn't test other speaker device yet
