vino, the same vnc server on ubuntu can be installed/configured on xubuntu with 3 commands:
sudo aptitude install vino vino-preferences /usr/lib/vino/vino-server && /usr/lib/vino/vino-server needs to be added to auto start-up or you could ln -s /usr/lib/vino/vino-server /usr/bin/vino-server and then just use vino-server to start it ok, so it's not the easiest solution. xubuntu almost always seems more difficult :[ -- Xubuntu needs a VNC server like vino is to Gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/56670 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
