Public bug reported:

sysklogd-1.5-1ubuntu1, hardy

The file exists only if CONFIG_KALLSYMS is sets, otherwise klogd code
tries to open the file, fails, and tries to close a NULL pointer (the returned
value of fopen).

P.S. The code looks *ancient*

** Affects: sysklogd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
