I agree whole heartedly with Nullack , a bug brought on by a simple common action that locks you out of your system deserves a higher priority than "low" . further the repermissioning of / is bizzare enough that even an experienced user might not find it for awhile and if they did not have the foresight to set a real root password rather than sudo ( which don't work when the bug occurs) his install would be toast .
